Module 6: Web 2.0 Tools for Presentations
This is my posting for Module 6 on the use of Web 2.0 Tools used for presentations.
I decided to challenge myself by creating an entire presentation without the use of PowerPoint.
This posting consists of a presentation delivered using Voicethread.
The title of this presentation is titled:
"An Overview for Using Web 2.0 Tools in Anesthesiology Education"
The presentation was initially made on Google Docs. Several pictures in the slides were taken off the internet. The slides were then uploaded to Voicethread. Audio and text comments were then added to the Voicethread presentation. The presentation was then embedded into this blog.
The presentation can be viewed by clicking on the play button at the top of the screen.

Module 5 Web 2.0 Tool Review: Reflection, Feedback and Networking: LinkedIn
This is my Web 2.0 Review for using Tools to promote Reflection, Feedback and Networking by using the tool LinkedIn.
Since there were many challenges with making and then uploading the audio podcast into Blogger, I chose to make a screencast using Screenr but mainly used it as a background for the 1st and 3rd screencasts. The first and third screencasts were created on Screenr and then saved as a mp4 file. The mp4 file was then uploaded without difficulty into Blogger.
The second screencast was also made on Screenr but then was embedded into Blogger without difficulty. Note the Twitter account identifiers (top left corner of screen) are present since logging into Twitter is required to publish the screencast (but not present if the mp4 file is uploaded into Blogger). Also note the Screenr identifiers are present at the bottom right corner of the screen.
First is a screencast made with Screenr that discusses questions 1-6.
Next is another screencast made on Screenr that demonstrates the main features of LinkedIn:
Here is my profile that I created on LinkedIn:

Finally, here is a screencast made with Screenr that discusses questions 9-11.
